RSA Change of Capacity


Further to our statement of 28th April 2011 announcing that 'Oak Underwriting Plc has been acquired by the RSA Group' we are pleased to confirm capacity arrangements going forward for our high value home insurance policy

Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Plc. will assume underwriting capacity from the following dates :-

With effect 1st June 2011 for New Business
With effect 15th June 2011 for Renewal Business

Underwriting capacity for both New and Renewal Business prior to the above dates will remain unaltered.

RSA are affirmed as an 'A' (excellent) rating by Fitch.

Oak will continue to be autonomous in every respect with existing service standards being maintained. All policies will continue to be issued on our 'All Risks' warranty free wording, and The Graham High Group will continue to handle all claims.

We emphasise that RSA and Oak will continue to operate as separate entities and manage their portfolios with a detached management and structure.
